Testimonials

Hey CypherStyles,
Props to you for looking after your customers so well. Its so hard to find people who know what they are talking about when it comes to BBoying. I go into a huge DVD shop in my neighborhood, and theyre like what? Battle of the Year? What the hell is that? Its good to know that you know and stand by the products you sell. Im glad that I bought the DVDs from your site.

Thanks man. Peace out.

Freshest Kids
Some people are lucky enough to grow up with BBoying as a major part of their life and culture. Not me though. I grew up with Hip Hop, DJing, House and Freestyle Dance Styles but my first exposure to BBoying was Freshest Kids, this DVD started an obsession and love of the culture that's still burning stronger every day for me and I don't know if CypherStyles.com would exist if I hadn't gotten pulled into the free expression of our four element culture by Freshest Kids. Freshest Kids takes on a detailed journey of B-Boying from it's birth in the late 60's at Kool Herc's parties in the Bronx, through it's over commercialization in the mid 80's and the Gangster Rap of the 90's. It's filled with interviews and old original clips with four element hip hop's original pioneers like The Rocksteady Crew, Crazy Legs, Mr. Wiggles, Kool Herc, Mr. Freeze, Popmaster Fabel, Trac 2, Rakim, Ken Swift, Frosty Freeze, Spy, Jojo, Afrika Bambaataa, The Nigga Twins, Fab 5 Freddy, KRSOne and many more, along with bonus bboy battles and music videos. It also has commentary on growing up with BBoying from modern hip hop stars like Mos Def, Fat Joe, Redman and many more, discussing the impact of BBoying on hip hop culture and it's evolution over the past 25 years. If you are a BBoy, BGirl, Popper or Locker, Freestyle Dancer, lover of four element hip hop culture, or just curious about the roots of bboying and breakdancing and the role it plays in hip hop, this is the best video of it's kind to date. Freshest Kids is an excellent documentary and the definitive introduction to the founders, values, attitude, foundation and culture of BBoying and four element hip hop. Everything about bboying
The Freshest Kids is the prominent historical DVD for those interested in the break dance world. It chronicles the development of the bboy through interviews with pioneers such as Frosty Freeze, Ken Swift, Mr. Wiggles and Kool Herc. Great insight can be gained by listening to the stories that are told by men such as Crazy Legs about the various origins of terms and moves. Included on the DVD are bonus music videos, uncut bboy battles with Stylelements vs The Renegades, interviews with Trac 2 and Popmaster Fabel. "The hand of Hip Hop", a BreakLife promo, and a bboy spotlight on Ken Swift round out this packed DVD. This belongs in every hip hop fan's DVD collection. Frank / BBoy Jamrock, CypherStyles.com, Inc.
