House Dance International (HDI) is the world's premier urban dance festival dedicated to house music culture. Based in NYC, HDI is the first event of its kind that highlights the artistic achievements of the individuals who give true life to house music: the freestyle dancers.

Until the establishment of HDI, House dancers remained divided and marginalized as a street dance derivative of hip-hop. But House has its own rich culture, movement and philosophy that deserve to be represented with authenticity.
