The Krump Kings are know as the top Krump crew out today, especially since Tight Eyez and Big Mijo, who are the founders of Krump, hold the standard of what it takes to be a Krump King.

However, getting initiated into the Krump King crew is only the beginning.

The new Krump King dancers are tested for originality in their style of Krump and are evaluated based on what they bring to the crew that was not there before they joined up.

The other factor that is looked at is if their dance style is not a new style, but that they have taken that style to a new level and are now better than the ones before them.

This is when the battle for existence comes into play.

If a Krump King is not on top of his/her game, then their position as a Krump King needs to be re-evaluated.

At the same time, many people that are trying to get recognized and have been dedicated also get a chance to earn a Krump King spot.

All they need to do is beat the Krump King they called out that night.

Dancers have good days and bad days when it comes to dancing, but if a Krump King has a bad day during the battle for existence... they could lose their spot.
